Just in case you were wondering....

He's at it again. We didn't need any MacArthur-esque pronouncements from Michael Moore to know he would be back. According to the Independent, "The sequel, to be called Fahrenheit 9/11½, will be timed to coincide with the next election and will revisit the same issues as the previous documentary, which lambasted Mr Bush's presidency, the response to the 11 September attacks and the war in Iraq." According to Moore himself, "Fifty-one per cent of the American people lacked information [in this election], and we want to educate and enlighten them. They weren't told the truth." That claim is somewhat tolerable. I think it possible that I've been lied to by the President. At the least it is a claim I can disagree with. Not so Ted Rall's latest dandy: "How can 59,054,087 people be so DUMB?" asked the headline of the Daily Mirror in Great Britain, and the underlying assumption is undeniable. By any objective standard, you had to be spectacularly stupid to support Bush." Thanks for explaining the headline, Ted. We didn't quite get it. We're either brainwashed by the neo-cons, or we're just behind those "edumacated people in them-there cities." Rall has these words for all those unfortunate to be in "Jesusland": "We're adjusting to the possibility that there may be more of you than there are of us. But don't demand our respect. You lost it on November 2." Don't worry, Ted. I don't think "idiotic" people like us want your respect.
